All dogs six months of age and older must be licensed by the Town Clerk. Licensing your dog is an annual obligation.
Evidence of a current rabies vaccination must be provided and or a spayed/neutered certificate from your veterinarian.
Fees: $10.00 for males and females intact and $5.00 for neutered males and spayed females.
Dog licenses are valid from April 1st to March 31st of the following year. A late fee of $20.00 will be added after May 31st.
ONLINE REGISTRATION IS FOR DOG "RENEWALS" ONLY.

OTHER RENEWALS: If your dog has had an updated rabies vaccination since dog registration last year, please download the mail-in dog license form with new rabies information for previously registered dogs or come into the town clerks office as your dog cannot be registered without the new rabies certificate from your veterinarian
NEW DOG REGISTRATION: download the mail in new dog license form, or register your new dog in person at the Town Clerk's office. A current rabies certificate and proof of spaying/neutering must be submitted at the time of licensing.
Please enclose a self addressed, stamped business envelope or (add $1.00 onto the price of your dog license) for shipping and handling.

Mail your correspondence to: Town Clerk, One Avenue A, Turners Falls, MA 01376 or use the Drop Box Mail Box at the rear entrance of town hall. There is also a mail slot inside the front vestibule of town hall during operating hours.
Notify the Town Clerk's Office if your dog passes away or if you give up custody of your dog. This will keep you off the delinquent dog owner list; otherwise it is assumed that you are still a dog owner. Please call 863-3200, extension 203.
