What is a sewer use bill based on?
It is based on water meter readings provided by the water districts to the Town. Winter readings, 1 October through 31 March, are used for both 1/2 year sewer bills. It is believed that the use of winter readings represents more accurate use information concerning water used that goes into the sanitary sewer collection system.
What do I do if I disagree with my sewer use bill?
Apply for consideration of sewer abatement by filling out the abatement request form. The form must be received by the Town, Selectboard office or WPCF, within 30 days of the bill date noted on the sewer use bill; this is per Massachusetts General Law.
